Tubing Equipment

Our facility uses a four-person seated position style tube called the “Great Big Mable HD”. Due to our tube replacement every few weeks, our equipment always stays in mind condition! We have found this tube to be the best for commercial use, having the top ratio between safety and comfort along with offering an unforgettable and thrilling ride where riders will not be bored from its amazing sensation. Unlike the old-fashion “banana boat”were riders get pulled behind in a straight line, our four-person tube lets riders swing side to side, and glide over the waves! The buoy will be towed by a high-end 25ft powerboat.

Flyers must be a minimum of 5 years old to participate. We do not have a maximum age, however participant must be in good physical shape. Any medical conditions should be taken into consideration and the captain will make a final decision.

Flight time is standard in this industry, ranging between 7-12min depending on the weather. Total boat ride can take up to an hour depending how many other flyers are on the boat.
  • Is there a weight limit per flight?
Max weight per Parasail flight cannot exceed 450 lbs.
  • Do we get wet/ dipped?
Getting wet is optional, however very recommended and voted the best part of the experience. You can pick whether just getting your feet wet or up to your chest!

We offer single, double, and triple flights. The vessel can carry 12 paying passengers. Keep in mind that single flyers may be paired with other flyers for weight requirements.
  • What do I wear?
You can go fully dressed if you decide not to get dipped at all. However, if you want to get wet, make sure to bring a bathing suit. We also recommend wearing a hat and sunglasses.
  • What is a spectator/ observer?
Enjoy the boat ride without actually going up in the sky. Keep in mind that if you change your mind, you may pay for the difference and still fly! Spectators are not guaranteed and only allowed if available space on the boat. Flyers will always get priority.

  • Is parasailing in Miami dangerous?
Like all extreme sports there is a risk. All equipment is inspected daily and up to date with the newest technology. Captain/ crew are USCG approved and heavily trained for emergency scenarios. Miami Watersports has never had any severe accidents requiring medical attention since its opening in 2007. The risk is very low, you have more chances of getting knocked out by a falling coconut then going parasailing.
  • Is parasailing in Miami scary ?
Not at all actually. Unlike that rush you get from roller coasters, parasailing gives you a smooth take-off and landing. The whole ride is very peaceful and actually smoother than on the boat!
  • Is wind/ weather a concern?
We have a wide variety of parachute sizes to use depending on windspeed. 20mph is the max which we are allowed to fly in. It is the captain's call to decide if the weather will permit activity. Heavy rain/ thunderstorm will cause cancellation of activity.
  • Can I change my mind if I want to fly once I'm on the boat?
Yes of course! Pay difference when you get back.
  • Do you operate in a bay or ocean?
We parasail in the protected bay of Key Biscayne. It is much calmer then the ocean which will let you enjoy a smooth flight and be able to view all of Miami Skyline! Unlike the ocean where all you get to see is water, we will be able to view Miami Beach; South Beach; Downtown; and much more!
